Jean Mahie was founded by Jean Marie Mazard and Jacline Nataf Mazard, his daughter-in-law, in 1969. Their bold designs, made in France of solid 22k gold, defined jewelry as wearable sculpture. Their breathtaking archive features forms inspired by ancient civilizations and artifacts, and the raw beauty of the handmade. By the 1970’s, Jean Mahie was sold at Van Cleef and Cartier, and today can be found at prestigious auction houses and at Fred Leighton.
I do not see many Jean Mahie pieces on the second-hand market and am honored to have a very special vintage ring to offer, circa 1970’s. It features an abstract face measuring almost 2” long, with an adjustable shank. A timeless blend of modernism, craftsmanship, and power wrapped up in one fabulous ring.
