Exquisite 18k Emerald, Ruby, and Diamond Shell Brooch

I love to imagine the people who previously wore the jewels I source- but nothing screams chic quite like this 18k emerald, ruby, and diamond studded shell.

Who wore it? I imagine it was a Park Avenue socialite, with an apartment that occupied an entire floor and an elevator that opened into her foyer. She would clip it onto her mink stole whilst being whisked off to Lincoln Center by her driver (of course she has a driver).

There are no designer hallmarks (strangely, because it is exquisitely made). It is a heavy 33 grams and 2.25” long. The emeralds and rubies are cut en cabochon, offset by the brilliant cut diamonds. A stunning heirloom piece.
