This fabulous tubogas cuff hails from Rome, Italy (stamped with a makers mark "ROMAN" on one side, and Italian hallmarks on the other). Circa the 1970's, it is just as chic today as it was then! Tubogas translates to "gas pipe” and is the descriptive name given to a type of chain formed from a pair of interlocking gold strips wrapped tightly together. In this example, one is yellow gold and the other rose- forming a subtle and elegant pattern.
A heavy 67.4 grams, this cuff measures 20.5mm wide and 2.25” in diameter, best for a wrist up to 6.5".
